A Student Question

At my school, it seems teachers have been taking advantage of the Make Your Day program. For example, my history teacher has forced all of the students to participate in what she calls "on contract". This means that if you get three Step 1's in a week, it is an automatic Step 4. From my understanding of your website, MYD is supposed to give students a sort of "clean slate" every day. A new day, a new beginning. While being "on contract" you don't get a new start every day. I was wondering; What are your thoughts on this? It is obvious that nothing like this is mentioned in the MYD website.
